    I like “kapers.” How do you spell douse? I think there is a typo in your piece. But great writing and such beautiful photos – not to mention your creativity to do such a feast with so little. It sounds delicious. Was Pip content with that as the whole meal or was it a side? 🙂

      Hi Mom. I may have meant “dose” or I may have meant “douse”. Either way, I have now corrected the typo to read “douse”. Thanks for that. Pip (aka The Author) liked the potatoes, but needless to say, it was only part of our meal! (I can’t remember what we had, but I know it was meat!)
